A regional museum is any museum eventually merged to the Belgrade City Museum. They have Permanent Exhibitions, witnessing of the city history and culture, whether of famous personalities who have lived and worked in it, or events regarding Belgrade.  At present, there are eight regional museums, which may sub-divided into more categories by their type:

Home Museums: Home Museum of Zemun and Home Museum of Mladenovac.
Historical-artistic:
Residence of Princess Ljubica

Memorial Museums
: Museum of Jovan Cvijić, Memorial Museum of Ivo Andrić, Museum of Toma Rosandić, Museum of Paja Jovanović, and Museum of Banjica concentration camp.

Archaeological site Vinča is a special type of a regional museum.
