The Museum is currently
under reconstruction.

Zemun Home Museum was founded in 1954, while since 1968 onward it has been a part of Belgrade City Museum. It is located in an edifice, which used to be a residence of the famous Spirta noble family.  The building was erected in 1855, and it is the sole saved neo-Gothic construction in the Belgrade Municipality. It is a cultural monument due to its exceptional architecture, and well-saved interior.

The Museum has a regular display showing the prosperous past of Zemun, and organizes occasional expert and thematic exhibitions, lectures, promotions and music manifestations.
